REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
On 28 January 2019, Aveley Primary School sponsored an incursion at our sister school, SD Cepaka. The incursion was hosted by EcoBali whose focus is on environmental education and promotion of best practices on waste management – focusing on the 3R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The spent time working with all the students from Year 1 to 6. There was an interactive session with PowerPoints and games to engage students and help bring the sustainability story to life.
This program links directly to our school’s Sustainability priority for 2019. We hope the students at SD Cepaka learnt about the importance of recycling and sustainability, just as we are here at Aveley Primary School.

School’s Open Night on 6 November 2019 with the theme SUSTAINABILITY. The students in Aveley PS learnt the chant in Indonesian.
